To do that, our dedicated specialists work with people of all ages in their own homes, communities or local CNIB offices – providing the personalized rehabilitation support they need to see beyond vision loss, build their independence and lead the lives they want.

Home Health Care Products (Canes, walkers, bathing assistance, etc)

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH  The church is also involved with other community initiatives such as supplying refurbished walkers, canes, etc., assistance with minor home repairs, etc. 519-599-6247

PHARMASAVE – Thornbury – The pharmacy has a home health department with various types of equipment to assist with activities such as bathing and items such as canes and walkers.  Items can be custom ordered as well and there is a foot care clinic on the second Friday of the month; (Fran Falls 519 538 1759).  www.pharmasave.com, 45 Arthur St., 519 599 2719.

Mackhall Mobility sells a wide variety of mobility devices including walkers, scooters, etc.  Staff will assist customers with applications for funding assistance from the Assistive Devices program of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.   Call or visit, 705-444-2263, 395 Hume Street, Collingwood, (1 block from the General and Marine Hospital).

PHARMASAVE – Meaford – has a small home health department with equipment to assist with such things as bathing; has rentals or purchase of equipment such as walkers and canes and participates in the new Medscheck program, which enables customers to have a private consultation with the pharmacist to better understand their medications.

STUART ELLIS PHARMACY, Collingwood has the largest home health care department in the Collingwood/Town of Blue Mountains area and both sells and rents such items as walkers, bathing assistance equipment and also has a community pharmacy outreach program with the Canadian Diabetes Association.  There is also a home health care consultant in an office on site, Monday –Friday, 9 – 5; 169 Hurontario Street, Collingwood; 705 445-4711.
